Life-Science Innovations is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Shared Services Director to join our executive leadership team. This role provides overall financial leadership and oversees centralized shared services functions across our group of companies.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational execution, helping guide business growth while ensuring strong financial stewardship, risk management, and organizational alignment. This position plays a critical role in shaping long-term strategy and driving performance across finance, HR, IT, tax, and risk functions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning
Advise executive leadership on profitability, growth, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives
Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, financing, and debt compliance
Evaluate acquisitions, investments, and business performance metrics
Present financial insights and recommendations to ownership and leadership teams
Accounting, Reporting & Compliance
Oversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, audits, tax coordination, and regulatory compliance
Maintain strong internal controls, governance, and risk management practices
Drive financial systems improvements and reporting efficiencies
Shared Services Leadership
Provide strategic oversight for:
Human Resources, including talent strategy, succession planning, compensation, and employee engagement
Information Technology, including ERP optimization, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and scalability initiatives
Risk Management & Safety, including insurance, compliance, and enterprise risk mitigation
Tax strategy, compliance, and coordination with external advisors
Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead and develop high-performing teams across finance and shared services functions
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Partner cross-functionally to align shared services with organizational goals
The ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background: Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
Experience in multi-entity or operationally complex environments preferred
Strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, treasury, tax, and risk management
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growth
